Prue Walsh
Our first ever Grong Grong recruit and possibly the first optometrist to hail from the 2652 postcode.
Prue started with us as a student optometrist from Deakin University in 2019 and quickly became an integral part of our team. We couldn’t bear to farewell her and thankfully she felt the same.
Prue enjoys all areas of eye care and is particularly interested in myopia control. In fact, Prue is our poster girl for Ortho K and enjoys the freedom it gives her during the day.
As our most athletic optometrist, Prue heads up our High Performance Eyewear team.
After hours Prue will be found outdoors – playing netball, AFL, tennis, camping, fishing or water skiing.
“My most rewarding moments are when I have diagnosed and treated ocular conditions with potentially more sinister systemic associations. Having been at Zacharia Naumann for over 2 years now, I am really enjoying seeing returning patients and establishing very genuine connections with them.”
